On Buses (and Trains) -- And Other Traffic Pet-Peeves

I just despise the traffic here in Metro Manila especially during rush hour -- or should I say, HOURS. I can't believe that this unbelievable traffic is caused by so many inconsiderate citizens of our country -- bus drivers, jeepney drivers, taxi cab drivers, jaywalkers, illegal sidewalk vendors, etc. I can name a few more but I guess you all get the point.

ON TAXI CAB DRIVERS:

I don't understand why taxi cab drivers have to swerve 2-3 lanes from where they are -- WITH OR WITHOUT ANY PASSENGERS. Maybe that's just the way they are. I also don't get why they can't load/unload in a free spot. It almost always has to be near an intersection or when the light is already green. Some drivers also have this habit of declining passengers even if it says on their cab, "ANY PART OF LUZON." 

ON BUS DRIVERS:

I know that there is a reason why the yellow lane policy on Edsa has been implemented but what I don't get is why can't they follow it?!?!?! Bus drivers are also guilty of swerving 2-3 lanes regardless of the size of the vehicle they are driving. I feel like their side mirrors are only for display and this may be dangerous for the small vehicles beside them.

(And my favorite) ON JEEPNEY DRIVERS:

Every morning, on my way to work, I usually pass a busy street full jeepneys awaiting there morning's take. But today was hilarious as I was able to see, firsthand, at how these jeepney drivers really abuse the loading/unloading areas. Policemen were catching those loaded a bunch of passengers at the prohibited places which caused so much traffic as early as 7am. And, only a few meters behind from where the policeman was standing, jeepneys would stop again. Haha! Another thing about these jeepney drivers is that when they would unload passengers, they would unload one at a time. Let's say, one passenger needed to go down on this corner and only a couple of minutes away, another passenger would need to go down. Why couldn't they just have stopped in one area since both points were at a walking distance anyway? Imagine being the driver of the vehicle behind the jeepney (and, yes, I've been there).
